Ce detectable ballpoint pen retractable is designed for daily professional use in food environments and in compliance with the HACCP method.

The detectable retractable pen is designed with the minimum number of possible parts, it is made with only 3 elements: the pen body, the retractable system, and the ink cartridge. This minimizes the risk of production contamination by foreign bodies.

The detectable pen body is square with a 1cm section which prevents the pen from rolling on inclined surfaces. This square shape ensures an intuitive grip for all hand sizes. This detectable retractable pen also offers excellent ergonomics which is appreciated for daily use in food processing and industrial environments.

The body and retractable system of the pen are made with a plastic specially developed to be detected by metal detectors and X-ray detection systems. This polymer (polypropylene – PP) is composed of highly detectable metallic additives. The retractable pen body is suitable for food contact and for use in the food industry.

The ballpoint ink cartridge is made of detectable metal, has a large capacity, is light resistant and has a reinforced metal tip. The ink is indelible and provides smooth, easy and flexible writing. The detectable retractable pen’s ink cartridge can be replaced at the end of its life. The ink is not suitable for food contact.

The detectable retractable ballpoint pen is available with bodies in several colors to allow HACCP color coding: blue, yellow, red or green.
