This detectable retractable numbered ballpoint pen is designed for daily professional use in food environments and in compliance with the HACCP method.

The detectable retractable pen is designed with the minimum possible parts, it is made with only 3 elements: the pen body, the retractable system and the ink cartridge. This minimizes the risk of contaminating production with foreign bodies.

The detectable pen body is square with a 1cm section which prevents the pen from rolling on inclined surfaces. This square shape ensures an intuitive grip for all hand sizes. This detectable retractable pen also offers excellent ergonomics which is appreciated for daily use in food processing and industrial environments.

The pen body and retractable system are made with plastic specially developed to be detected by metal detectors and X-ray detection systems. This polymer (polypropylene – PP) is composed of highly detectable metallic additives. The retractable pen body is suitable for food contact and for use in the food processing industry.

The ballpoint ink cartridge is detectable metal, high capacity, light-resistant and equipped with a reinforced metal tip. The ink is indelible and provides smooth, easy and fluid writing. The ink cartridge of the detectable retractable pen can be replaced at the end of its life. The ink is not suitable for food contact.

All the detectable retractable ballpoint pens we deliver are tested. We also pay special attention to removing the ball protection (plastic cap) to ensure you have a detectable pen ready to be used by your teams in the best possible conditions.

The detectable retractable ballpoint pen is available with a blue body. It is visually identifiable by your teams, as the blue color does not occur naturally in food. You will significantly reduce the risks of cross-contamination
